This Refund and Returns Policy applies to purchases made from Syniad CI Ltd, including books, clothing, consulting, training and coaching services.
Syniad CI Ltd is a UK company registered under number 11329238. For refund or return enquiries, contact enquiries@syniad.uk.
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any statutory rights that apply to consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or other applicable law.
This section applies to books and clothing purchased online.
If you are a consumer, you may cancel your online order within 14 days after the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason.
If your order is delivered in multiple parts, the cancellation period begins when you receive the final item.
To cancel, email enquiries@syniad.uk with:
You must return the goods within 14 days of telling us that you wish to cancel.
Goods should be returned:
You may handle goods to the extent necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning. We may reduce the refund if the goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and their value has consequently decreased.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods unless the goods are faulty, not as described, or we have agreed to pay the return costs.
Where you cancel in accordance with this section, we will refund the purchase price and the cost of standard delivery. We will not refund any additional amount paid for an upgraded delivery option.
We will issue the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or, where applicable, receiving evidence that you have sent them back.
If goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, contact enquiries@syniad.uk as soon as possible and provide details of the problem, together with photographs where helpful.
You may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where a return is required because goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, Syniad CI will cover the reasonable return postage costs.
These rights are separate from, and in addition to, the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.
Our standard cancellation policy is:
This policy does not affect any statutory cancellation rights available to consumers.
Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period for services purchased online or by another distance method under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
If you ask us to begin providing a service during that 14-day period and then cancel, we may charge a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the point of cancellation, provided that:
If the service has been fully performed following your express request and acknowledgement, your statutory right to cancel may end when the service is completed.
If a consulting, training or coaching service is cancelled after it has begun, we will generally calculate any refund on a pro-rata basis for the undelivered portion of the service, less payment for services already delivered and any reasonable non-recoverable costs.
For consumers, this is subject to the statutory rules and remedies that apply to the relevant service.
Events, appointments or engagements that have already taken place are not normally refundable. This does not affect statutory rights where the service was not provided with reasonable care and skill, did not conform to the contract, or other legal remedies apply.
For bespoke consultancy or other custom projects supplied to business customers, a 20% deposit is required to secure the work unless we agree otherwise in writing.
For business customers, the deposit becomes non-refundable once work has begun. It will be applied towards the agreed project price.
Any remaining balance will be handled in accordance with the relevant proposal, statement of work or contract.
For consumers, if work begins during the statutory cooling-off period at the consumer’s express request, the consumer will be responsible for the proportionate cost of work completed up to cancellation, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits a consumer’s statutory rights or prevents a consumer from seeking a remedy where the service was not provided in accordance with the law or contract.
We may offer digital products or content in the future.
Consumers generally have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital content supplied online. However, if you:
your cancellation right will normally end once access or supply begins.
If these requirements are not met, your statutory cancellation rights will continue to apply.
Where digital content is faulty, does not match its description, or does not meet the required legal standards, you may have rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We may offer subscriptions for consulting or other services in the future.
Subscription terms, including the cancellation notice period, renewal arrangements and price, will be shown before purchase.
Unless stated otherwise:
Consumers retain any statutory cancellation or other rights that apply.
Approved refunds will normally be sent to the original payment method, including the payment method used through Stripe or any other payment provider.
Refunds will generally be processed within 14 days of approval, subject to any statutory timeframe that requires an earlier payment.
We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, card providers or payment processors after the refund has been submitted.
We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases and services.
If you are unhappy, please contact us at enquiries@syniad.uk. We will review the circumstances and work with you to put matters right. This may include a replacement, rescheduled service, credit, full refund or partial refund.
Any goodwill refund or other remedy is offered at Syniad CI’s discretion and does not affect or replace your statutory rights.
Consumer-specific cancellation rights do not generally apply to business customers. Business customers should refer to their proposal, statement of work, order confirmation or other written agreement.
Where no separate written agreement applies, this Policy will apply as the agreed refund and returns procedure, subject to any mandatory legal requirements.
